Quality Control Officer
What your job includes
In this organisation, the role of a QC Officer is crucial in ensuring product and food safety, as well as maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental protection. As a QC Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring both operational and strategic aspects, ensuring that legal obligations, agreements and the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders are strictly adhered to. Moreover, you are a valuable source of knowledge in the field of measurement techniques, improvement processes, analytical methods and organisational development. In this challenging role, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and be an essential link in the pursuit of excellence in quality management.
- Monitoring and ensuring quality aspects;
- Inspect goods or processes in response to reports from employees or production management;
- Collecting samples for analysis and environmental monitoring (pre-inspection);
- Documenting all data collected;
- Reporting observed deviations to the QA Manager or QA Supervisor and suggesting ways to deal with them;
- Monitoring the enforcement of process settings and hygiene rules during the process;
- Instructing to correct settings, rectify errors or perform cleaning tasks;
- Promoting awareness on quality and hygiene among production employees through explanation, instructions etc.
- Compliance with HACCP, ISO, health and safety regulations, environmental rules and company regulations;
- Shaping the process of 'continuous improvement' within own organisation;
- Guarantee integrity and independent advice on quality and (food) safety;
- Responding to reports of product integrity and food fraud.
You are:
- Innovative. You see where things can be done better, spot them and get to work!
- Communicative: Proactive communication and being able to convey what you mean is no problem for you;
- Smart. Completed MBO education (preferably in food technology);
- Experienced. Demonstrable work experience in the food industry, preferably in the meat industry.
- An expert in HACCP. Knowledge of HACCP and food safety;
- Polyglot. Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
- Eligible to work. You have a valid working permit for the Netherlands.

- Flexibility: Three shifts. (05:45 - 14:15, 13:45-22:15 and 21:45 - 06:15)
- Good salary: €3120 - €4080 gross based on 36 hours (including shift allowance)

- Travel allowance: Speaking of re-charing, €0.22 per kilometre is a matter of course with us (from 10 km one way)
